Penn Fields School continues to remain open for all of our students unless a member of the senior leadership team have spoken to you direct.

Due to high staff absences we are continuing to undertake daily risk assessments to ensure we can keep both students and staff safe - We may need to look at a reduced school day or week moving forward. I will be sure to keep you up to date.

If your child is remaining at home due to having an underlying health condition, please inform the school as soon as possible - you are to follow the Government guidance found here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-guidance-on-social-distancing-and-for-vulnerable-people/guidance-on-social-distancing-for-everyone-in-the-uk-and-protecting-older-people-and-vulnerable-adults

Students who upon arrival to school or throughout the day who are identified as having a raised temperature or a dry / new cough will be sent home and parents / carers will need to follow Government guidance on isolation.
