Student Transition Information

01 July 2021

Dear Parent / Carer,

RE: Student Transition

Following advice from Wolverhampton Local Authority, our school transition plans for students moving from one year to another will look a little different again this year.

This is taking into account the slight rise of Covid infection rates within the City, the need to ensure student bubbles are not mixed, as well as only allowing professions linked with current students to access the school site. By ensuring these control measures remain in place for the final few weeks of the school year, will support keeping all of our students and staff safe.

Tuesday 6th July 2021 – Moving On

  • Students will work in their current classes to complete tasks and activities based on the differences from being in one year to another and ‘Moving On’.

  • All students will be informed to who their new class teacher / tutor will be.

  • All student will take home a class teacher / tutor information sheet, to share with parents / carers.

  • New parents / carers to Penn Fields School, will have the option to have a MS Teams / Zoom meeting with their child’s new class teacher / tutor.
